  2. 7TH Edition FASU 2014 Games conclude on Thursday 17th July 2014 7th Edition Federation of Africa Universities Sports (FASU) 2014, came to an exciting close on Thursday 17th June 2014. Out of 10 African participating countries, Egypt scooped first position, followed by Ghana and Kenya emerging among the top three African countries.

  3. 7TH Edition FASU 2014 Games conclude on Thursday 17th July 2014 Cabinet Secretary for Sports, Culture and Arts,Dr. Hassan Wario who presided over the ceremony, emphasized the importance of sports especially during this current time that the country is working towards growing wholesome individuals. He noted too that his ministry is setting up a sports academy given that sports occupy a central space critical for molding young minds and shaping them to engage in lucrative sports careers.

  4. 7TH Edition FASU 2014 Games conclude on Thursday 17th July 2014 Vice Chancellor who was represented by Prof. P. Mbithi, Deputy Vice Chancellor Administration and Finance, appreciated all the efforts of participating teams and advised them to accept results, and take both success and failures positively. He also urged organizations to continue supporting sporting organizations so as to strengthen both women and men sports in the country.

Mbeche, Deputy Vice Chancellor Student Affairs and FASU Local Organization Committee (LOC) Chair, expressed his gratitude for participants who lived up to the theme of the games, Peace and solidarity in Africa through Varsity sports.

  6. 7TH Edition FASU 2014 Games conclude on Thursday 17th July 2014 Dr. RaletheMalumbete, FASU President, appreciated University of Nairobi management for its support in hosting FASU games for the second time. He also recognized executive committee members of different University Sports Federation from various continents. In addition, he esteemed LOC, members of the media and participating teams for making FASU 7th edition 2014 games a success.
