  2. PrisonAngel“Go stand in the temple courts and tell the people the full message of this new life”. v20

  3. Sanhedrin • Unaware • Bystander • No force: afraid of the people • Brought before the Sanhedrin again We must obey God rather than men!

  4. Pharisee Gamaliel • Theudas and Judas • Came to nothing • If of human origin it will fail • Of God...you will find yourself fighting against God • Flogged, told to be quiet and released

  5. Apostles • Rejoicing....worthy to suffer disgrace for the Name. v41 • Day after day....never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ

  6. To what extent are you prepared to suffer for the sake of sharing the gospel with others? To obey God rather than men? Do you agree? ........ When we have experienced the presence and power of the Holy Spirit we can have confidence to speak out for Christ.

  7. “Blessed are you when men hate you when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil because of the son of man. Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their fathers treated the prophets”. Lk 6:22 &23
