There is a threat of Severe Weather across all of Eastern NC late Thursday and Thursday Evening The Storm Prediction Center has placed all of Eastern NC in a Slight Risk for Severe Thunderstorms on Thursday. A widespread severe weather Outbreak is expected across much of the Eastern US Thursday with the highest risk just to the north of our region. There is a 20 to 30% probability of damaging wind (greater than 58 mph) and large hail (1 inch or greater) within 25 miles of any point in Eastern NC late Thursday into Thursday evening. An isolated tornado is also possible.
