  2. Poker has become one of the famous games worldwide. Played by hundreds of people, it serves as an entertainer and an energiser. It allows you to socialise and enjoy time with friends and family. Many games can be played when people get together, and the whole environment becomes lively and joyful. These poker games are played at casinos, parties, and online as well. The popularity is increasing each day, and people have started playing different forms of poker with their groups. Following are some of the popular categories of poker: 1.Texas Hold’em: It takes minutes to learn and a lifetime to master this game. It is the most popular of all categories of poker in the world, and learning it is not tough. It uses forced contributions called blinds. The player to the dealer’s left is the small blind, and the next player to the left is the big blind. Each player is dealt with two cards facing down, and the first round of contributions begins with the player at the left of the big blind. Players are free to call, fold, or raise. After the first round, the dealer ‘burns’ one card facing down before putting three cards face up in the middle of the table. The second round of contributions starts with the player to the left of the dealer. The fourth community card or the Turn is dealt, followed by more contributions. This process continues its way to the fifth and final round River. Any player with cards remaining shows down to see who wins. Players can use or not use their hole cards with the community cards to form the best five-card poker hand. 2.Pot Limit Omaha: Players get four-hole cards, and the maximum contribution equals to the size of the pot. The game is exactly like Texas Hold’em, but players get four cards each. They must use exactly two-hole cards along with three community cards to make the poker hand. Calculate the pot size by multiplying the last contribution by three and then add the remaining amount along with the pot amount. 3.Manila: Also known as Stripped Deck or 32-card draw, this game has all the cards raked below eight removed from the deck for better hands. Each player is given two-hole cards facing down. A face-up community card is dealt amongst the players. The first contribution is made, and a second face-up community card is played. The rounds continue until the seventh round called River. The pot is won by the best five-card hand using both the hole cards with exactly three of the five community cards. Many poker online games are also available on different websites which are compatible with smartphones as well. Just get a proper internet connection and enjoy!
