  2. Poker is a famous game played worldwide and can be observed at get-togethers, weddings, casinos, clubs, etc. It is a mode of entertainment, enjoyment, togetherness, social interaction, and learning lots of new lessons and tricks. There are various levels in poker, and each level gets tougher with progress. Though the game is fun and exciting, there are many professionals in the field that can be tough to beat. Poker hands, usually, consist of five cards falling into various categories. They are ranked according to the numerical and the hierarchy of poker cards. Following are their variations from highest to lowest: 1.Royal flush: It is an ace-high straight flush where all the cards are of the same suit as the Ace. For example, A, K, Q, J, and 10, are having the diamond suit. 2.Straight flush: It is a five-card straight with all cards belonging to the same suit. For example, 7, 6, 5, 4, and 3, all are spades. 3.Four of a kind: It consists of four of a kind or four cards of the same value. For example, all four cards are Jack, with one card being number 2. 4.Full house: It contains a set of 5 cards, where three cards are of one value, and the remaining cards are a pair of another value. For example, three cards of Queen suit and two cards of the number 2. 5.Flush: It contains any five cards of the same suit, for example, K, Q, 9, 6, and 3, belong to the diamond suit. 6.Straight: They are five cards of sequential value that contain either a five or a ten. For example, 7, 6, 5, 4, and 3, with different suits. 7.Three of a kind: Three cards of the same value, for example, three fours. 8.Two pairs: They are two cards of one value and two cards of another value. For example, two Jacks and two eights. 9.Pair: It is a pair of two cards with the same rank. For example, two Queens.

  3. 10.High card: The hand that has the highest cards wins the game. If two or more players have the highest hand, a kicker is exercised. Ties and Kickers Poker hand rankings include the sets of cards from top to bottom according to their values. Make the best five-card combination from the all the seven cards that are available to play (five community cards and two-hole cards). Whenever there are ties in the game with four of a kind, three of a kind, one pair, two pairs, or even a high card, a side card or Kicker comes to form. The winner of the pot gets decided based on the result. For instance: Player A: The five cards are Diamond, Heart, Spade, Club and Queen. Player B: The cards are Club, two Spades, Heart, and Diamond. The winner is Player A because of the Queen.
