  1. A Short Brief On Poker Game Rules

  2. It is essential to have some entertainment in life. Working all day continuously without any rest or refreshment makes the person feel weak and stressed. Taking too much stress can cause lots of health problems. Hence, the mind and body need rest to feel energised and active for the next day. Games are the best option for calming and relaxing the mind and body. Many people play different kinds of games like Ludo, Snakes and Ladders, card games, etc. those who choose to play poker must know the poker game rules. This game has some basics like hand rankings, as mentioned below: 1.Royal Flush (All cards of the same suit in a sequence of A, K, Q, J, T) 2.Straight Flush (Any sequence of the same suit like 9, 8, 7, 6, 5) 3.Four of a Kind (Four cards of equal value, like A, A, A, A) 4.Full House (One pair combined with Three of a Kind) 5.Flush (All cards of the same suit) 6.Straight (A sequence like 6, 5, 4, 3, 2) 7.Three of a kind (Three cards of equal value like 5, 5, 5) 8.Two-pair (9, 9 and 5, 5) 9.Pair (Any pair like A-A or 2-2) 10.High Card (The card of the highest rank) Texas Hold’em is one of the most played games amongst all poker variations. Know the poker terms to play smartly. The cards are distributed from a 52-card deck amongst 2 to 10 players on a single table. The dealer gives each player two cards starting with the player on the left and ending on themselves. The player on the dealer’s left will be the first one to act. They have a choice to either Speculate or Check. If any of the players decide to Speculate, the rest can either Call, Fold, or Raise. A Call involves players to match the amount raised in the pot. Fold requires them to give up the cards as well as the chips that they have accumulated in the pot. Raise involves adding additional chips in the pot. This round continues until every player has called or all the chips have been placed in the centre. After the completion of the first round, the dealer deals three cards that face-up on the board. It is called the flop, and the community cards that can be used by anybody. Once again, everyone with poker hands gets a chance to speculate and consequently raise or fold. Once that round is complete, the dealer puts a fourth card on the table, called the turn, that anyone can use. Again, everyone gets the chance to speculate, check, raise, or fold. The dealer puts a fifth card, known as the river. All the players get a chance to speculate/check/raise/fold for the final time.

  3. The poker game rules say that if more than one player remains in hand after the final one, the cards are exposed, and highest rank wins.
