Students’ EvaluationResults • I met a lot of people / friends from other countries- 45 ticks • I used the English language and improved the knowledge in English -44 ticks • got to know another culture – 45 ticks • interesting work / activities (museum) connected with the project – 45 ticks • worked in international groups- 45 ticks • I tasted new food that I liked- 44 ticks • good organization -42 ticks • good experiment to be so far from home 42 ticks • good meetings in the evening with all 44 ticks • difficult communication, different levels in English, different accents • organization not so good • dead moments / wasted time / waiting for teachers • no games to get to know each other • not enough free time- 6 ticks • visit of the museum boring- 6 ticks • very expensive • problems with acculturation in Italy2 ticks • not many results concerning the subjects of the project – 1 ticks • international groups should be better mixed 10 ticks • only theoretical activities

Oneschoolfinds it difficultbecauseof. • o Need to achieve the goals set for each school term • o Too much school and administrative work • o Incompatible timetables that makes the coordination of project activities quite difficult.

  5. Howdoyouevaluatethe students’ workinItaly • Bulgarianteamsaysthatthe students hadthechance to meetwithpartnersfromalltheparticipationgcountries. Theexchangewasextremelyuseful. Thehostingschoolhadarrangedexcellentactivitiesfor students to promoteItaliancuisineandculture. • TheRenaissanceperformancewasamazingandeveryonewasthrilled. Thespecialdinneroffered a first-handexperienceofMedievalfoodandculture. • Students improvedtheircommunicationskills, cultureandsocialexperience. • Spanishteamsuggeststhatthe art workshopsperformedbystrudentswereinteresting, attractiveandfunny. The Gala dinner, dancesandspeechwereveryeducational. Our students learnt a lotaboutBologna’scultureandhistory. Communicationandinterectionamong students werepositive. • Turkishteamevaluatesthestudents’workaswellprepared, organisedwithdancesandfood. Theyarealsowarmhandedandwelcomedusfriendly

  7. WhatdoyouthinkoftheculturalprogrammeinItaly • Latvianteamthinksthattheprogrammewasinterestingandeducational • Englishteamacceptsthattheculturalprogrammewasverygood. Therewas a nicemixofformalandinformalactivitieswhere students couldmixwelltogether • Czechteamsaysthat it wasgreatandrich, interestingandamusing. Theyenjoyedit verymuch • Bulgarianteamsaysthat it waswell-organisedandveryinteresting • Spanishteamadmitsthat it wasverygood, superb. Theylikedthevisit to Bolgnamuseum, explainedbythe students ofE.Fermischool. Thedinnertaughtus a lotaboutfoodintheMiddleAges. It was a greatexperience. Andtheculturaltouraroundthecity, guidedby a teacherwasveryremarkable. • Turkishteamhighlightsthefactthattheprogrammewaswellorganised. Havingdetailedinformationwasamazing

  8. WhatproblemsdoyouseewhiledoingtheprojectinItaly? Howcantheybesolved? • Latvian, English, Czech, Bulgarian, Spanish,Turkishdonotseeanyproblemsdespitewaitingattherestaurantcanbesaidas a problembuttheymadethattimeusefulbychatingandsharinginformation.
