  3. Step 1 Write the word “Catholic” with a capital C in the middle of the circle (which represents the Catholic Church), leaving space around it for writing and drawing.

  4. Step 2 Draw images around the word “Catholic” that symbolize the Catholic Church possessing the fullness of Christ and the fullness of the means of salvation. Please consult Article 26: Catholicity: The Fullness of Christ in the Church

  5. Step 3 Draw circles representing the faiths listed on the next slide. Place the circles in proximity to the particular faiths’ relation to the Church. (i.e. overlapping with the Church, next to the Church, or separated from the Church). You can also consult Articles 27-28 to help you.

  6. Other Christian communities Eastern Catholic Churches Judaism Islam Hinduism Buddhism

  7. Last Step Draw a large circle on the page, encompassing all the circles and images.

  8. Conclusion There are other faiths that are not part of the Catholic Church. Even so, the mark of the Church as “catholic” means that all are invited into the fullness of Christ. The Church also recognizes that most faiths participate to some degree in the fullness of God’s truth and divine life.
