On interfaith dialogue

Interfaith Dialogue is…

Interfaith Dialogue is NOT…

  • Interfaith dialogue is a WAY OF LIFE and a LEARNING JOURNEY
    • Deeper understanding of one’s own faith
    • Improved communication skills
  • Interfaith dialogue WORKS !
  • Interfaith dialogue is about empathy
  • Interfaith dialogue is NOT about the content as much as it is about the process of dialoguing
  • Interfaith dialogue is not the melting of religions into one but the affirmation of the specificities of each religion and learning to accept it

On interfaith dialogue

Extremism versus the silent masses

“Forgive him, for he believes that the customs of his tribe are the laws of nature”

- George Bernard Shaw -

On interfaith dialogue

Religions: philosophy versus practice:

“The Cat that that was tethered”

- Swami Sukhabodhananda -

Philosophy versus Rituals

On interfaith dialogue

“With tolerance comes hesitation”

- A friend -

  • “Where there is complete truth, there is no peace. And where there is peace, there is no complete truth”

- Babylonian heritage -
