  1. World of SUVs, The New Theme For Mahindra Showrooms Mahindra & Mahindra, India’s principal Utility Vehicle (UV) maker, is changing its game as it is focusing more on SUVs in the nation. In lieu of this Mahindra dealers across India will experience a comprehensive alteration and the Indian vehicle maker will term its dealership henceforth as, ‘World of SUVs’. Once this change falls in line its total vehicles and also all its yet to unveil variants will find a different selling setup which according to the company will give the prospective customer a better understanding and view of his/her desired vehicle. Total existing Mahindra showrooms will be redone. All the present & yet to come SUVs from the house are set for sale with an improved digital and customer relationship experience. Although the entity will not bring in new showrooms for this changed strategy it will, however, earmark separate space in its present showrooms to sell its premium vehicles. If the reports are true these new high-end type showrooms will come into effect by the end of this month. Veejay Nakra, the Sales and Marketing Chief of Auto, M&M said, “The channel strategy revamping isn’t just for the new vehicles that Mahindra is launching, it’s for the total Mahindra dealership, keeping in mind that Mahindra is an SUV manufacturer, We want customer to experience walking into an SUV manufacturer dealership and not just into a car dealership.’’ In its new Mahindra SUV themed showrooms, Mahindra will promote the toughness & rugged looks, which are both characters of its SUVs. In addition to them, it will even showcase the premium feel & modern technology to the purchasing experience. He added, “We are going to change the way we display our SUVs, the flooring on which the vehicles are displayed will be changed, the background will be more realistic giving it a feel of an off-roader or a 4X4 vehicle.” With this move the Mahindra showrooms in Hyderabad and elsewhere will have a new looking reception, more number of digital screens, bigger display spaces and so on to provide a realistic feeling in addition to an outdoor experience. Mahindra authorized dealers Hyderabad including other authorized dealers will even make use of modern technologies such as screen mirroring and VR for an enhanced realistic and transparent view. Speaking more on the strategy Mr. Nakra said, Mahindra’s aim is to check the costs and that’s why they have opted to open newly themed showrooms in the already present dealerships instead of opening up new showrooms exclusively dealing for the premium segment. As on date, Mahindra has top houses such as Automotive Mahindra which anchor the role of Mahindra dealerships & service points across various locations.
