City Tech Meets Hospitality Tech

City Tech President Fred W. Beaufait was pleased to have lunch with officers of the Hospitality Financial & Technology Professionals (HFTP). The organization was among the honorees at City Tech's Best of New York dinner on May 22, 2003 in recognition of its leading role in providing information on finance and technology to the hospitality industry and its work in creating scholarship and internship opportunities for students. Representing HFTP were its then vice president, Calvester Legister and its former president, Joseph Isklander. In addition, President Beaufait and Dominick Sarica, executive director of the Office of Image & Visual Communication, represented City Tech. The pledge to work together that came from this meeting created new opportunities for City Tech students and allowed HFTP to benefit from the expertise found at the College.
