Legalframes of memory The aim of the conferenceis to examine the realtionshipbetween law and memory: • law as a framework of socialmemory from perspective of legitimizingcertainnorms, values, and visions of the past, • toward developing a framework of grassrootssociaslactivitywhereinindividuals and groupspromotecertaininterests and historicalnarratives, • the waylegaldiscoursemerges with otheraspects of social life, includingconcepts of justicedefined in the works of historians, media and culturaltexts.
