  1. Top Veggies That Are Good For YourDog Dogs absolutely love veggies and they also love “people food”. Besides regular dog foodadding vegetables to their diet can provide great health. Vegetables are filled with vitamins and minerals and the non-starchy ones are low in calories and fat which provides fiber. But before feeding your dog veggies, it is advisable to talk to your vet about the dog’s foodintake. It is also advisable to give your dog a small piece of veggie if you are feeding them for the first time and observe his reaction before increasing the amount to their diet. Below are some of the vegetables that are safe and are good for yourdog. 1.Asparagus

  2. Remove the fibrous ends and cut them into bit pieces to avoid choking. Before serving it wash them thoroughly and feed them one to two ounces, not more than that. Asparagus is a great source of vitamin A, B1, B2, C, E and K along with iron, fiber, manganese, copper, and potassium. Sometimes a new texture or flavour is proved to renew interest in their usualfood. 2. BrusselsSprouts They are a rich source of fiber and antioxidants, that helps improve blood circulation and reduce inflammation in the body. They are loaded with folate, manganese, fiber, potassium and vitamin A, B6, G and K. Choose Brussels Sprouts that feel firm, green in colour and should not smell too strong. Feed them ½ or 2 sprouts, depending on your dog’ssize.

  3. 3.Broccoli Broccolis are a great source of vitamin A, C, and K, along with fiber, manganese, and folate. It is said that they boost immunity and, aid them from cancer and fight arthritic inflammation. Cut the broccoli into tiny pieces and serve them one or two florets. It should be noted that too much of broccoli, especially the head, can cause major gas and might upset the digestivesystem.

  4. 4.Carrots Remove the ends and wash it thoroughly so that all the dirt is been washed out. Now cut it into bite-size treats and serve them one or two pieces not more than that. Carrots are known as a healthy snack for both humans and dogs. It is considered as a great substitute for a traditional dog treat, as they are high in fiber, low in calories and are an excellent source of vitamin and potassium. Please remember that there are some vegetables that you shouldn’t be feeding your dogs such as onion and fresh garlic. And if you have any more questions regarding vegetables it is recommended to talk to yourveterinarians.
