  1. Transferring your PST to your Home-Drive. NAVCOMTELSTA-GUAM N8 / LNSC

  2. 1) From the Desktop, double-click on the “My Computer” icon. 2) From the pop-up window; locate and double-click “System (C:)”

  3. 3) Double-click on the folder “Document and Settings” 4) Locate, and open, your profile. • Will be in the following format: first.last (e.g. John.Doe)

  4. 5) Minimize this window, and open “My Computer” again. 6) Under ‘Network Drives’ locate, and open, your home-drive. [It will be labeled (H:)]

  5. 7) Maximize your (C:) drive [the first window you opened]. 8) On the “Tools” drop-down menu, select “Folder Options...”

  6. 9) On the pop-up menu, select the “View” tab [second from left] 10) Click the bubble next to “Show hidden files and folders”. 11) Click “Apply” and close out the pop-up window.

  7. 12) You should now see several ‘faded’ folders. Locate, and open, “Local Settings”

  8. 13) Locate, and open, the “Application Data” folder.

  9. 14) Locate, and open, the “Microsoft” folder.

  10. 15) Locate, and open, the “Outlook” folder.

  11. 16) Maximize your (C:) drive [the first window you opened]. 17 ) Drag your PST into your Home-Drive. This will transfer all of your PST to your home drive. NOTE: If you are transferring more than one PST, hold down the CTRL key while selecting all of the files. Than drag the files to your Home- Drive.
