  5. Vallnord An outstanding choice for school groups the Vallnord area encompasses almost 100km of high-altitude skiing across two very different ski resorts – Arinsal and Arcalis. Like many resorts in the Pyrenees, Vallnord has benefitted from recent investment and modernisation. KM Piste: 100km No. of runs: 70 Longest Run: 6km Number of Lifts: 46 Highest Lift: 2560m Lift Capacity: 55,690 skiers per hour Snow-Making: 385 snow cannons Direction of Slopes: All directions Snowboarding: 2 terrain parks, boarder cross, 2 slalom parks and 3 freeride areas Children's Facilities: Excellent Lift Pass Area: Access to Pal, Arinsal and Arcalis.Nearest Doctor / Hospital: In resort.Transfer Times to Resort: 31/2 hours from Barcelona and Toulouse, 161/2 hours from Calais

  8. A large hotel just 500m from the main lift to Pal, and situated in one of the more lively villages in the area. Location In the centre of La Massana village, close to shops and amenities, and just 500m from the main lift to the slopes at La Caubella. Facilities Spacious games room with pool table and arcade games, TV room, bar, large restaurant and an Internet station. Ski lockers are also provided. Accommodation Modern bedrooms sleep 2 - 4 students, each with private shower and WC, plus hairdryers. Rooms also have satellite TV and a safe. Meals All-you-can-eat buffet breakfast & three course evening meal. A hot buffet lunch is provided on the mountain.

  17. This trip has been organised by Equity who have been running successful school trips for over 20 years. Equity are members of ABTA and hold an ATOL License. Therefore all monies paid are fully financially protected. Equity is also a member of Learning Outside the Classroom and The School Travel Form who have strict policies on safety and best practice

Your tour price is fully inclusive of the following: • Return executive coach transfer from school to resort • 6 nights full board accommodation including hot lunches on the mountain • Resort lift pass for 6 days to cover area as described on the resort page • Ski lessons:- (6 days x 4 hours per day) • Ski equipment hire for 6 days (skis, boots and poles) • Ski helmet hire • Fully comprehensive travel insurance • In resort representation and 24 hour emergency service • Safety Management System in line with the School Travel Forum • 3 x out- of- house evening activities, subject to availability, to be booked in advance where possible • Every pupil gets a trip hoody as well!
