  2. Adolf Eichmann Karl Adolf Otto Eichmann was born on March 19, 1906 in Solingen, Germany. When the Eichmann’s later moved to Linz, Austria, his parents continued to practice the Lutheran religion and attended church regularly. Growing up Adolf’s best friend was a Jewish boy named, Harry Selbar. Harry was often taunted for his religion and Adolf hated this. On April 1, 1932, Adolf officially joined the Nazi party. When he was 26 years old he has a steady girlfriend named, Veronika. He left every Friday from his job to spend the weekend with her. On November 9, 1941, Eichmann was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel in the SS army. The day the Nazi’s surrendered (May 1945) he was arrested, but later escaped to Northern Germany, using a fake name.   4. Annelies (Anne) Frank Annelies (Anne) Frank was born on June 12, 1929, in Frankfurt Am Main, Germany. She’s the second child of Otto and Edith Frank. When Anne was four years old she and her family move to a house in Amsterdam. There she started going to Montessori School where she made lots friends. One in particular, Hannah, grew to become her best friend. In September of 1939, WWII broke out and in 1940, the Germans invaded the Netherlands. Over a period of a year Anne and her family moved food, furniture, clothes, etc. into the Annex of a warehouse where her dad worked in. After receiving a letter in July of 1942 addressed to Margot Frank, the family went in hiding. On August 4, 1944 the police raided the annex.   6. Joseph Goebbels Paul Joseph Goebbels, who preferred to be called, Herr Doktor Goebbels, was a very powerful man who helped send millions of people to die. He was born on October 29, 1987 to Fritz and Katherina Goebbels. He was in a low middle class family was often joked by other children at school. People later elected him into the German government, at this time he was five feet tall, 100 pounds roughly, he has a narrow face, intense eyes, he wore really nice plain suits, and he was disabled with a club foot and one leg. He was very good at persuading people and also a really good liar. He remained close to Hitler, and was later put in charge of all culture and propaganda for the government. He married Magda Quandt in December of 1931. On May 1, 1945, they locked themselves in a room together and shot each other as the sounds of the Russian army surrounded them. Roberts, Jeremy.   8. Hermann Goring Hermann Goring was born in Rosenheim, Bavaria (southern Germany), on January 1, 1893. He grew up with his father and always longed to be a knight like in the stories. He later moved in with his godfather, Dr. Ritter Hermann von Epenstein. When he was older he flew Count Eric von Rosen to his castle though it was dangerous. There he met Carin von Flacknow and fell in love with her. Carin divorced her current husband so that she could be with Hermann. He returned to the Bavarian Capital to attend school there he met Hitler, who later dominates his life. Hitler made him head of the SA (brown shirts) and he became one of ten Nazi members in 1928. In 1938, he had a child named Edda. He later got sentenced to death by hanging on, October 1, 1945, and then he cheated the hangman and took a fatal dose of Cyanide which killed him. Ramen, Fred.   10. Josef Mengele Josef Mengele was born in Günzburg, Germany the year of 1911. He joined the Nazi party in 1937 and the SS in 1938. He was often asked to help with medical experiments and grew to be one of the most infamous doctors. He performed Pseudoscientific medical experiments on twins, young infants, dwarfs, and women. He was credited with making the gas chambers more scientifically effective. On May 5, 1945, Josef disappeared. He was later found in Argentina but, escaped jail and headed to Paraguay.   12. Elie Wiesel Elie Wiesel was born in 1928, to Shlomo Wiesel and Sarah Fiey. He was named after his grandpa, Elizer. He was the only son and middle child of three sisters, Hilda, Bea, and Tsiporah. He was a very serious and insecure child and often liked to play chess. He also bribed his classmate in hope that they might like him. A few days before the Passover when Elie was only a teenager, black uniforms came to Sighet. On a Tuesday afternoon in 1944, the Wiesels were driven from their home to a train. On the first night in Aushwitz-Birkenau eh wrote his famous memoir, Night. After three weeks in Aushwitz, he was transferred to Buna with his father. He then marched to Buchenwald where his father died after getting very sick.
