  1. Swedish Water House • Initiated by the Swedish Government in 2003 • Funded by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the Ministry for the Environment • SWH is administered by SIWI but works with “all relevant Swedish actors”

Swedish Water House – why was it initiated? • To increase Swedish actors’ participation in international water processes • To contribute to gathering and increasing cooperation between the Swedish actors and increase engagement on international water issues • To strengthen communication and cooperation within and between a broad range of actors, representing different competence areas, perspectives and view points

  3. Networking… • Is important and fun, but difficult to sustain • Must be guided by a shared vision and clear objectives • Takes time and resources and must be coordinated
