Civil Services • India’s top most administrative posts of the country are manned by officers from Civil Services which consist of about 30 services • Some of these services include I.A.S, I.P.S, I.F.S, I.R.S etc • Civil Servants are selected by the examination conducted by U.P.S.C which is a government body • Our parliament makes the laws for us and these laws are implemented by Civil Servants. • About 3 to 4 lakh aspirants appear each year for about 1000 posts of Civil Services • It is one of the most lucrative careers in the country • This career gives you lot of opportunities to play active role in the development of the country and its people
