  1. Supplemental Figure 1. pH titration experiment on ARG activity in PMN lysate with or without PMSF. PMNs (106) were lysed by freezing and thawing. Cell lysate was incubated for two hours in 150 mM NaCl, 10 mM Tris/HCl, at the indicated pH, with (triangles) or without (squares) PMSF. Afterward, ARG activity was measured by spectrophotometry. Mean and 1SD of three experiments.
