  5. Take the time to LEARN! • Take time out of your day and learn about the business • Marketing • Sales • Direct Sales • Leadership • Recruiting • Cut TV one hour a day – 365 hours to work on business a year!!

Experience Your Fear and take Action Anyway • FEAR • F= Fantasized • E = Experiences • A = Appearing • R = Real • Make a list of the things you are afraid to do (A) • Restate your fear using the format to the right (B) • Can you see you are creating the fear? I am afraid to: • Ask my friends to look at Thirty-One and join me I want to _____, and I scare myself by imagining ________ • I want to ask my friends to look at Thirty-One and I scare myself by imaginingthey will think I am only interested in making money off of them

  7. Reject Rejection • You never have ANYTHING to lose by asking! • SWSWSWSW • Some will • Some won’t • So what? • Someone’s waiting!

Practice Persistence • It is not always going to be easy • Hit a roadblock? • Stop and brainstorm three ways to get around it • Spend time looking for solutions • Always be solution-oriented • Persevere until you find a way For every failure, there’s an alternative course of action.
