Description and Method • Snow falls during the night • One pixel per snowflake • Diffusion Limited Aggregation & ColorMap • Low sticking probability of 0.001 • Sticking prob. increases according to number of neighbors • Snow melts during the day • Warm air from above • 2-D Stationary Heat Equation & ColorMap/Contour plot • Fixed top boundary 20°C, Air in middle 0°C, Snow -5°C • When a snowflake warms up beyond threshold value, it disappears from the graph.
