  1. COACHING FOR PCS J AT ATHENA COACHINGACADEMY The PCS Jexam conducted by the UP Public Service Commission as per the directions of the Hon’ble High Court of Allahabad is the career defining exam for all those aspirants who seek to join the highly respected and coveted judicial service in the state. Generally the exam is conducted annually. It is a three stage exam consisting of the Prelims, the Mains (both with clearly defined syllabus of their own) and the Interview. The general category aspirants get maximum 4 attempts only. Therefore, the aspirants are very careful in making thorough preparations once they make up their minds for appearing for thisexam. AlargenumberofaspirantsforPCSJfacetheproblemthatinmanyofthe educational institutions offering the LLB course, classes are not held regularly.

Since the exams conducted by the state universities concerned to which these institutions are affiliated reportedly do not follow very rigorous standards in their semester exams, a wide gap comes to exist between what an average aspirant for PCS J would know, and the domain knowledge of all aspects of law and jurisprudence that the examination authority for PCS J expect him topossess.
