MORRIS (CUTTER HEAD) DREDGE POWER: ELECTRIC (from Pier T) DREDGE QUANTITY: 430,000 CY DISPOSE METHOD: PUMP (24” PIPE) PRODUCTION: 17,000 PER DAY PIER G 1400’ FLOATING STEEL PIPE 2000’ WEIGHTED HDPE PIPE 1000’ STEEL PIPE 3500’ WEIGHTED HDPE PIPE 4000’ WEIGHTED HDPE PIPE 80’ STEELPIPE
Surcharge Material • Originally planned to use Western Anchorage sand mine • Revised to include rolling surcharge using Port supplied crushed miscellaneous base (CMB) • 2/3 of CMB left on-site for use in developing site • Excess material used for other Port project (Middle Harbor)
Construction Costs Engineer’s Cost Estimate: $44M
