  2. Aqua is Spanish for water. Lots of people drink water and like to swim on water. A- Agua

  3. A bay is a body of water. It is partly surrounded by land. It is not bigger than a gulf. B-Bay

  4. A coral reef is made of coral. A coral reef surrounds an island. If you go down into the ocean you can see a coral reef. C-Coral Reef

  5. A dolphin is a sea creature. Or you can call it an aquatic creature. It likes to eat fish. D-Dolphin

  6. Evaporation is when a liquid changes to a gas. You can find evaporation in the air. E-Evaporation

  7. A Fire Hydrant is what Fire Fighters use to put out fires. You can find them all over the street. A fire hydrant is what holds water. Fire Fighters put in air pressure to make the water burst out of hose. F-Fire Hydrant

  8. A gulf is a type of body of water. It is a part of an ocean or sea that is partly enclosed by land. A gulf is usually bigger than a bay. G-Gulf

  9. H2O is what you can drink. H2O is water. When it evaporates it is partly oxygen. H2O can be salt water or fresh water. H2O stands for Hydrogen Oxygen, the 0 is 1 molecule, when they all are combined the make H20. The 2 stands for 2 hydrogen molecules. H-H2O

  10. The Indian Ocean is found in the Southern and Eastern hemispheres. You can locate this sea on a map. I-Indian Ocean

  11. A jellyfish is also an aquatic creature. If you touch one, it will hurt. It’s head is the only part you can touch, because it is the only body part of a jellyfish that doesn’t sting you. J-Jellyfish

  12. A kayak is a long, thin boat. You can kayak on a river, lake, or gulf. K-Kayak

  13. A lake is a type of body of water. It is surrounded by land. You can swim or kayak on a lake. L-Lake

  14. A marsh is a low wetland. It actually grows grass! Marshes are usually filled with water. You can find marshes all over the world. M-Marsh

  15. Niagara Falls is a famous waterfall. You can find Niagara Falls near New York. N-Niagara Falls

  16. An octopus is a aquatic creature. If you go down under the ocean you can find some octopus on the bottom of an ocean. O-Octopus

  17. The Pacific Ocean is very large. It is located east of China, west of Chile, and west of Mexico. P-Pacific Ocean

  18. A waterfall flows quickly just like a river. One waterfall is Niagara Falls and one river is The Hudson River. Q-Quick

  19. A river is a large stream of water that flows into a lake or an ocean. You can find a river almost anywhere in the whole wide world. R-River

  20. A sea is a type of body of flowing salt water. It can be partly surrounded by land. S-Sea

  21. A toilet is a type of machine. It has a small body of water in it. At first you’ll have clean water, but then you don’t. I use 68 gallons of toilet water a day. T-Toilet

  22. The Yukon river is a famous river. You can find it in northern Alaska. U-Yukon River

  23. Vapor is a type of gas. You can see it when it rains or when you go to an air show. Vapor is just like water vapor in the water cycle. V-Vapor

  24. You can find waves on a coast of an state, country, island, or continent. You can also find them on a beach too! You can surf on waves. W-Waves

  25. A X-ray fish is a type of fish that is see-through. You can find X-ray fish in the Atlantic Ocean. You have to go down very deep until it’s the color black to see them. X-X-ray Fish

  26. A Yacht is a type of fancy and big boat. You can sail in the ocean with a Yacht. Y-Yacht

  27. A zoo has lots of animals that need to drink water to survive. They need fresh water to survive. Some fish in the zoo need fresh water to survive. A seahorse lives in a zoo. It lives in freshwater. Z-Zoo
