Core Functions of APIIC • Identification of potential sites for industrial development. • Acquisition/Alienation of lands for Industrial Parks/Regions. • Providing infrastructure facilities in Industrial Parks/IT Parks/Biotech Parks/Apparel Parks/SEZs with its own engineering divisions. • Allotment of land/plots/sheds for various industries. • Identification and development of infrastructure projects under PPP mode.

Strengths of APIIC • APIIC spread over in all districts of Andhra Pradesh with Eight (8) Zonal Offices. • APIIC has over 300 Industrial Parks which include sector specific IT, Apparels, Pharmaceuticals, Autonagars, Automotives and Special Economic Zones etc. • APIIC exercises the local authority powers under AP Panchayat Raj and Municipal Acts.

Strengths of APIIC • APIIC has full fledged Engineering wing- Provides Infrastructure facilities to all IPs/SEZs/IT Parks • Services include provision of : • Internal Roads and External Connectivity • Water Supply • Power Supply • Storm Water Drains & Internal Drainage arrangements • Buildings works • Deposit contribution works to Government Departments • Developing JV Projects • Developing & Operating CETPs and STPs • Obtaining Environmental Clearance

AP PCPIR OPPORTUNITY • Strategic location : Both for Domestic and Global markets • Feedstock : 2 Refineries with total capacity of 30 MMTPA (Visakha Refinery + Petrochemical Complex KRPL Refinery + Petrochemical Unit) KG Basin Gas • Land : Largest PCPIR in India; 640 sq.km which includes 6 SEZs (75% of Processing Area already in possession) • Environ Mgmt : CETP’s and marine outfall in Pharma SEZ, Brandix SEZ are operational. Similar proposed for other areas of PCPIR. • Infrastructure: 3 ports, 2 airports, linked by National Highway Golden Quadrilateral project.
