  9. Academic Technical Bowl • ATB is “suspended” for the year • Name can’t be used • Will not be a final round at the Annual Convention • There are no prizes on the National Level for first place winners • National Academic Excellence Committee is working on improving it

  10. Regional Quiz Bowl • Same rules apply (e.g., 4 members/team) • Will be a competition at each Fall Zone Conference • Must complete pre and post surveys on IMPAk • Winners will receive reimbursements for Annual Convention registration • 1st place

  12. Institute of Chapter Development • Year-round chapter development • Three submissions • September • November • February • Mandatory for all chapters to be considered “active”

  13. National Programs Fund • If your chapter needs additional money to hold an event, apply to the NPF • Before you request funds… • A. Develop the purpose: • 1. Why are you hosting the event? What directives does the event support? • B. Develop the objective: • 1. What is to be gained from the event? • C. Identify the resources: • 1. What do you need? Is there money already in the budget for it? If not, how else can you get funding?

  15. Technical Outreach for Community Help • STEM Community Training • Informal Science and Engineering • Technical Expertise Services • Traditional Community Service • A Walk for Education • Make sure your chapter submit TORCH hours
