The Alphabet, Plaintext, and Ciphertext • Above is a chart showing the ‘plaintext’ alphabet along with their corresponding values. • It is not necessary to start the chart with ‘A’ • This chart also works in reverse. • If you have a message and you know the formula, you can do the math and find the letter.
