POWER Play… • Know the political landscape; who are the power brokers, who is in the inner circle, who is in the ‘board within the board’ • Know where and when real decisions are made • Two big mistakes : i.) trying to use power you don’t have and ii.) using the wrong kind of power to achieve results
2. Understand your Leadership Style • Make sure you know your ‘power zone’. Try to think about how you influence others. Self assessment • Hold yourself to higher standards • Have hard conversations : Remember Spiderman’s words of wisdom…“With great power comes great responsibility”

Bring actionable ideas to solve big problems • Neutralize Negative Politics – take the ‘dirty out of politics’ • Be a model of integrity
