Nonetheless, Venetian blindshave been in the market for quite a long time and have been used by people of the olden age as well as the modern age. The style of the Venetian blinds was patented by an Englishman, Edward Bevan in 1769. In the late 19th and 20th centuries, these blinds were widely installed in offices in New York to regulate the light and air that was to come in through the windows. Two famous buildings of the city, which ordered the mass installation of Venetian Blinds were the famous Empire State Building and the Radio City Building.
