Protecting Life: Understanding and Saving Our Living Environment

In this project presented by Tasneem Iqbal from Govt. Rafa-e-Aam Girls H/S and Sarwat Tahira from Govt. New Model Girls H/S, students in grades 6-8 engage in critical discussions on the importance of living things. They explore vital questions about life, discover its blessings, and emphasize how to prevent living organisms from facing dangers. Through collaboration, students enhance their critical thinking, learn about the characteristics of life, and discuss the essential needs of living beings. By the end, they'll be equipped to promote awareness and action to protect our living environment.

Objectives • Life is the blessing of God, So we should try our best to save life . • Students should know the importance of life. • At the end of this project the students will be able to teach other students that how they can prevent living things from dangerous problems. • Students will enhance higher order thinking ability. Students will able to integrate 21st century skills(collaboration ,self direction, confidence and flexibility.)

Unit Summary • All living things show sensitivity, but non- living things do not. • What kind of environment is better for living Things? • All students participate in this project and play the role of scientist and learn to work in collaboration. • Students know the characteristics of living things, such as.1.Movement.2.Growth.3.Nutrition.4.Respiration.5.Excretion.6.Reproduction.7.Sensitivity. students can understand the importance of living things like plants and animals and their roles in our life. • Students can understand that what is the better environment.
