  5. Attitude and Behaviour more Important than words! Pro 16:32“Better to be slow to anger than to be a mighty warrior, and one who rules his temper is better than one who captures a city.”

  6. Attitude and Behaviour more Important than words! Where is the Emphasis? Col 3:12/15“Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with a heart of mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if someone happens to have a complaint against anyone else. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also forgive others. And to all these virtues add love, which is the perfect bond. Let the peace of Christ be in control in your heart (for you were in fact called as one body to this peace), and be thankful.”

  7. Attitude and Behaviour more Important than words! What do all the works of the Flesh have in Common? Gal 5:18/21 “But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, depravity, idolatry, sorcery, hostilities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish rivalries, dissensions, factions, envying, murder, drunkedness, carousing, and similar things. I am warning you, as I have warned you before: Those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God!”

  8. Attitude and Behaviour more Important than words! What do all the works of the Spirit have in Common? Gal 5:22/26“But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Now those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires, If we live by the Spirit, let us also behave in accordance with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, being jealous of one another.”

  9. Words are also Important! Poor Leadership Jam 3:14/16“But if you have bitter jealousy and selfishness in your hearts, do not boast and tell lies against the truth. Such wisdom does not come from above but is earthly, natural, demonic. For where there is jealousy and selfishness, there is disorder and every evil practice.” Good Leadership Jam 3:17“But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, accommodating, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial, and not hypocritical. And the fruit that consists of righteousness is planted in peace among those who make peace.”

  10. Attitude and Behaviour more Important than words! A Fitting Contrast. Eph 4:29“You must let no unwholesome word come out of your mouth, but only what is beneficial for the building up of the one in need, that it may give grace to those who hear” Eph 4:31/32“You must put away every kind of bitterness, anger, wrath, quarrelling, and evil, slanderous talk. Instead, be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ also forgave you.”

  11. The Pyramid of Leadership and Responsibility

  20. Domestic or Family Responsibilities Eph 5:22 /24“Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord, because the husband is the head of the wife as also Christ is the head of the church — he himself being the savior of the body. But as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.” Eph 5:28“In the same way husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.” Eph 5:33“Nevertheless, each one of you must also love his own wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.”

Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also forgive others.”
