  3. Geography • Covers culture, politics, economics, geography, etc. • Offers an AP test at the end of the school year. Pre-AP will not have a mandatory test • Will require reading. • Will give you more real-world information than any of your previous history classes.

  4. On North America, write your name • On South America, tell me your favorite food. • On Europe, write how many siblings you have. • On Africa write a geographic fact about you. • On Asia, write what you think the biggest difference between middle school and high school will be. • On Australia, favorite type of music.

  6. When I come into class, I will… Work on the warm up on the board.

  7. Upon arrival in class, I should bring… My Geography binder, paper, and a pen or pencil to write with.

  8. The proper heading for my paper is as follows: (right side) Name Date Class Period

  9. When the class is on “red light”…. I will raise my hand to speak.

  10. When the class is on “green light”…. You may answer without raising your hand.

  11. If I forget paper, I can…. Borrow from a classmate, or purchase a spiral from Mrs. Neil.

  12. If I forget I pencil I can borrow one if…. I give Mrs. Neil a shoe until the end of class.

  13. If I am absent, I need to…. Come to Mrs. Neil and get my assignment.

  14. I may get extra credit if….. Mrs. Neil gives an extra assignment. There are unlimited extra credit opportunities for daily grades.

  15. If I meet certain goals laid out by Mrs. Neil (all assignments turned in, maintain a certain grade average, high score on a test, etc.) I may… Listen to my IPOD/listening device during independent practice.

  16. If I need to sharpen a pencil, I should… Use the sharpeners at Mrs. Neil desk.

  17. Acceptable responses to correct answers are… Hiyah! Hwaaaaaaaaaah! A karate chop or kicking action.

  18. I should turn assignments in at…. The drawer labeled with my class period.

  19. The class ends when… Mrs. Neil dismisses me. Not the Bell
