  4. Why is She Important? Harriet Tubman was important because she was a leader of the community . Also she helped people escape from slavery to the North from the South.

  5. Interesting Facts • Harriet Tubman lived to 1821 to 1913. • Harriet Tubman’s second husband was 22 years younger then her. • Harriet Tubman led hundreds of slaves to freedom along the Underground Rail Road • Harriet Tubman was awarded a pension of twenty dollars in 1889.
