What is Benchmarking ?
  • Benchmarking is the planned process by which an organisation compares its health and safety performance with others, with a view to;
    • Reduce accidents and ill health
    • Improve compliance
    • Cut compliance costs
    • Identify strengths & weaknesses in their system
    • Enables informed target setting
    • Continously improve
    • KEY – Accurate information about the industry performance
