What Do You Mean by AS9100 Ethical Behavior

So, what does it mean to you, and how will you be able to verify it? Any customer auditors (and certification auditors) may ask anyone they are auditing to show that they fully understand everything on the list, like the quality policy and how it applies to them. Your audit will include an assessment of your overall knowledge of ethical behavior in all of the documentation reviews. You can easily find a course for AS9100 training online to learn more.

1. WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY AS9100 ETHICAL BEHAVIOR?

 2. AS9100 Rev D is an AS (Aerospace Standard) first released by the IAQG (International Aerospace Quality Group) based on internationally recognized standard ISO 9001. Both ISO 9001 and AS9100 are set standards that include all requirements for implementing a QSM (Quality Management System) in your organization. Nevertheless, AS9100 is specifically modified for space, aviation, and defense organizations.

 3. The IAQG (International Aerospace Quality Group) compiled the standard by collecting inputs from representatives in space, aviation, and defense-related entities to develop a quality standard. This set standard helps reduce any organizationally- unique requirements, defines industry-wide good practices, and implements effective quality management systems.

 4. These actions effectively guide an organization's supply chain to perform more consistently regarding delivery, quality, and cost. When using AS9100 requirements to create your aerospace quality management system, you'll see that some of them refer to ensuring people have a proper understanding of the overall importance of ethical behavior. But what do you mean by ethical behavior, and what should you do to ensure these requirements are correctly implemented?

 5. What is Ethical Behavior? The AS9100 Rev D does not provide a proper definition of ethical behavior. Even the international aerospace quality group website does not define ethical behavior though the term tends to appear in two requirements. By definition, ethical behavior suggests acting consistently with what our society considers as great values. Moreover, it aims to include honesty, equality, honesty, diversity, fairness, and individual rights. The requirement of doing things right and honesty are critical for several industries. However, it doesn't appear in the ISO 9001:2015 requirement (on which AS9100 Rev D is based). So, why does the aerospace industry focus on this?

 6. All companies that deal in the aerospace industry are partly responsible for providing components critical for aircraft where safety is vital. These components may also include a mechanism for the defense industry where the soldier's lives may be at stake and parts of the space industry where expensive satellites can't be fixed once they are in orbit. With such a high level of risk, including human safety, the need for industry experts to be honest and follow all the rules is of the utmost importance. You will better understand why ethical behavior is essential by understanding the application of the AS9100 standard.

 7. Professional AS9100 Training Courses help you better understand why everyone working in the aerospace industry must understand how critical it is to be honest and follow all the rules, especially if they provide your services and products, both externally and internally. All processes need to be executed as planned, inspections must be thoroughly and correctly reported, and performance requirements must be checked honestly.
