  1. Prevent Your Skin Turning Green - Enjoy Your Accessories from Arzsteel Stainless Steel Jewellery If you are one of them who experience staining of steel when you're wearing Stainless Steel Jewellery, then there are some steps that you can take to prevent such occurrences and enjoy your jewellery. Avoid getting ring wet First, take off your item piece before washing your hands, bathing, taking a shower, or swimming. Wet skin will enhance the process of oxidation and can generate a noticeable green stain on the rings. If you want to go swimming, remove your rings before that because the chlorine in water can cause green stain and damage the rings.

  2. Lotions for skin Chemicals that are used in lotions also react with the material of jewellery. Make sure the lotion is completely absorbed in your skin before wearing the rings. Materials of steel The green staining can occur from different Stainless Steel Jewelry types for both low and high quality; however, the lower quality causes more stain. To avoid getting a green finger, try to be aware of the material of the ring that you wear. Stainless steel, platinum, 925 sterling silver, gold-plated and rhodium-plated materials are all made up of safe materials but cause minimum stains. Try to avoid nickel, as it the cheapest and lowest quality material for jewellery, and it causes irritation and infection. Arzsteel jewellery doesn't contain nickel.

  3. Why polymer barrier? One of the best methods to avoid Green Finger is to apply a polymer barrier to the interior part of rings. This effectively creates a barrier between jewellery and your skin and hence prevents oxidisation and staining. A jewellery shield is cheap to buy, but you should reapply it every few weeks when it is worn away. This is a low cost and most efficient method to reduce Green Finger without investing in expensive solid-gold or solid-platinum accessories. Try clear nail polish For any immediate need, an alternative for a polymer barrier is nail polish. Just like a polymer barrier, you can apply nail polish on the interior part of your ring and create protection between metals and your skin. This method is however, less effective and can also change the appearance of jewellery. Treat your green finger Knowing how to avoid jewellery staining is useful; however, you may have already got a Green Finger for which you're reading this article. What can you do to remove that staining?

  4. The first step is to remove the stain by scrubbing your skin with soap and warm water. You can also use a nailbrush for that. You can also use make-up remover or alcohol to remove strong stains. Clean your skin with some cotton, and then rinse with warm water and soap. The final thought! For some dark and troublesome stains, you can use non-acetone nail varnish remover. You can take a cotton pad, apply it gently over the stain, and rinse it with soap and warm water. This should be your last option and should not be used regularly as it is harsh to the skin and can make it dry.
