  2. Gediminas castle The first fortifications were built of wood by Duke of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Gediminas. Later the first brick castle was completed in 1409 by Grand Duke Vytautas. Third floor tower was rebuilt in 1930, by polish architects Jan Borowski. Some remnants of the old castle have been restored, guided by archeological research.

  3. TV Tower The Vilnius TV Toweris a 326.5 m (1,071 ft) towerinthe Karoliniškės microdistrictof Vilnius, Lithuania. It isthetalleststructureinLithuania, andisoccupiedbythe SC LithuanianRadioandTelevision Centre. The tower was designed by V. Obydovas and the engineering section by K. Balėnas. The construction of the tower started on 31 May 1974 and finished on December 30, 1980.

  4. Rasų graveyard One of the oldest and most important cemeteries in Lithuania, established in 1796. Here rests in peace the historical personalities, as came across, Nicholas Constantine Čiurlionis, V. Mykolaitis-Putin Michael Romer, OS Hank and others.
