  3. HOW TO USE BOOLEAN OPERATOR? • AND:COMBINES SEARCH TERMS, WHICH WILL NARROW THE SEARCH • OR: TO RETRIEVE EATHIER TERM, WILL BROADENS THE SEARCH TOPICS • NOT:ELEMINATES ALL THE RESULTS THAT HAVE THE SEARCH TERM

  4. SUBJECT SEARCH : FOOTBALL AND: SPORT OR: FOOTBALL NOT:SOCCER

  5. Truncation: (Wildcard) * WHAT?Truncations OR Wildcard: a search that finds terms with similar spellings, general meanings or plural spellings. Ex. Theater or Theatre LOOKUP Theat* HOW? EX. 1 Theater or Theatre LOOKUP Theat* EX.2 Dog or Doggy or Dogma or LOOKUP Dog* WHEN? Use Truncations or a Wildcard search whenever you are searching for a key word that has alternative spellings.
