  23. IMTC Focus • 1). Drive adoption of Multimedia teleconferencing standards developed by the (ITU), ETSI, IETF and other stds group. • 2). Sponsor and Conduct interoperability testing events for all standards; products and services. • 3). Educate the business and consumer communities on the status, value and benefits of these technologies and on practical application.

  25. “The IMTC Activity Group Interoperability Events are neither tradeshows nor competitive events. Some vendors work with prerelease code and, consequently, participants are expected to respect the privacy of others. Results of each testing session are not publicly posted. By participating in this event, you agree not to individually disclose, comment on or otherwise characterize the results of the interoperability testing or operation of any individual vendor’s equipment without that vendor’s prior written consent. “The IMTC Activity Group Interoperability Events are neither tradeshows nor competitive events. Some vendors work with prerelease code and, consequently, participants are expected to respect the privacy of others. Results of each testing session in such Events are not publicly posted. By participating in such an Event, you and you company agree not to individually disclose, in any manner*, comment on or otherwise characterize the results of the interoperability testing or of the operation of any individual vendor’s equipment generated at such an Event without the relevant vendor’s prior written consent.   26. Consistent with the goals of the event, the IMTC may publicize overall, general results through press releases and post-Event briefings of selected industry analysts and press. This will include general event information, names of the participating vendors, and the collective results of the testing. By participating in this event, you agree not to separately disclose, comment on or otherwise characterize the results of the interoperability testing, or operation of any individual vendor’s equipment, without that vendor’s prior written consent. Consistent with the goals of the event, the IMTC may publicize overall, general results through press release and post-Event briefings of selected industry analysts and press. This will include general Event information, names of the participating vendors, and the collective results of the testing. Members may issue press releases that discuss their companies’ general involvement in the Events in accordance with IMTC public relations policy the IMTC public relations policy.   27. Guidelines for IMTC Activity Group Interoperability Events • The IMTC interoperability Events are strictly engineering Events. No marketing personnel or other observers are allowed at the Events, and no soliciting is allowed. Additionally, only products to be tested will be allowed and no equipment demonstrations of any kind will be allowed. • The IMTC interoperability Events are strictly engineering Events. Guidelines for IMTC Activity Group Interoperability Events • You agree that, in the event of any substantiated breach of these guidelines the Board of Directors (“Board”) may by majority vote take any necessary and reasonable corrective action against the offending member. The corrective action by the Board may include, without limitation, the following : 1. A demand upon the member to write and send a letter of apology to either the Board and/or and other member and/or any third party, together with a written assurance that the breach (or similar breach) will not occur again. The Board shall have the discretion to approve by majority vote the content of any such letter of apology before it is sent. 2. A demand upon the member to issue a statement of apology at an IMTC event. The Board shall have the discretion to approve by a majority vote the content of any such statement of apology and the manner of distribution. 3. A demand upon the member to issue a press release for the purpose of correcting any false statements and/or inaccurate test information and/or any other information previously disclosed by the member in breach of these guidelines. The Board shall have the discretion to approve by majority vote the content of any such press release and the manner of distribution.

  29. Guidelines for IMTC Activity Group Interoperability Events • Failure of the member to comply with the Board’s demand shall be grounds for the suspension of participation in IMTC interoperability Events each for a period of not less than one year and/or immediate termination from membership in accordance with the termination provisions of the IMTC by-laws. Not earlier than one year following the termination of membership, the member may apply for re-admission by special petition to the Board.
