    5. STUDENT DATA REVIEW & REPORTING Train Building Assessment Coordinators to use the student data review and reporting system. Training packets and webex materials are usually provided by KDE staff. It is good to view those together to get questions answered.

    6. EPAS TRAINING FALL TESTING TRAINING PROVIDED BY OFFICE OF ASSESSMENT AND ACCOUNTABILITY-YOU THEN TRAIN BAC’S SPRING ACT TRAINING PROVIDED TO BUILDING LEVEL TEST ADMINISTRATORS

    7. SPRING TESTING TRAINING FOR DISTRICT ASSESSMENT COORDINATORS BY OFFICE OF ASSESSMENT AND ACCOUNTABILITY DAC THEN TRAINS BUILDING ASSESSMENT COORDINATORS BUILDING ASSESSMENT COORDINATORS TRAIN TEACHERS

    8. INTERPRETATION OF SCORES ANALYZING RESULTS IS HANDLED DIFFERENTLY AT DIFFERENT LOCATIONS SMALL DISTRICTS THE DAC WILL MEET WITH TEACHERS AND DISCUSS RESULTS LARGER DISTRICTS DEPEND ON THE BAC TO ANALYZE WITH TEACHERS

    9. MONDAY EMAILS DAC MONDAY EMAILS CONTAIN INFORMATION THAT PERTAINS TO TRAININGS FOLLOW CAREFULLY TO REGISTER FOR DISTRICT ASSESSMENT COORDINATOR TRAININGS

ALTERNATE ASSESSMENT TRAINING WILL BE AVAILABLE THROUGH KEVIN O’HAIR BY WEBEX ALTERNATE ASSESSMENT IMPORTANT DATES 2011-2012 DATE EVENT August 29 Overview Training and Quiz open September 6 Districts will be contacted to provide Field Test Participants List September 30 Field Test Participants List due to KDE October 7 Field Test training begins October 17-21 Test Window 1 (Field Test) materials arrive to school participants October 24 Test Window 1 (Field Test) opens November 4 Test Window 1 (Field Test) closes November 6 Test Window 1 (Field Test) feedback due online December 5 Attainment Tasks training opens/Test Windows 2 and 3 January 16-20 Materials for Test Window 2 ship to districts February 6 Test Window 2 begins February 6 Student Registration Database (SRD) opens for score input -Test Window 2 February 13 Transition Attainment Record (TAR) Training and quiz opens. Administration may begin upon completion of quiz. SRD opens for TAR score input March 2 Test Window 2 ends March 9 SRD closes for score input – Test Window 2 April 9-13 Materials for Test Window 3 ship to districts May 1 Test Window 3 begins
