What are perks of being active ?

  • Improves health and skill in a specific event
  • Prevents coronary heart disease, osteoporosis, weakness, diabetes, obesity, and depression
  • Helps prevent physical diseases
  • Improves strength, endurance, balance, and confidence
  • Walking, running, and climbing stairs improves metabolism, bone strength, muscle strength and mass
  • Weight training improves muscle growth and muscle tone
  • Running, brisk walking, cycling, and swimming strengthens muscles in heart
