ANDRITZ HYDRO s.r.o., Czech Republic – Basic Information • History, Alignment and Activity (in a nutshell) - 1 • 1989 – Sales activities start on Czech market (SAT Vienna sales representative office) • 1991 – SAT representative office foundation in Czech Republic inclusive of technical department • Realization activities starting with focusing above all on the control systems for energy transmission and distribution range (STE, SČE – today ČEZdistribuce, PRE – today PREdistribuce) • 1994 – The first project realization in hydro electric power plant automation (HEPP) field (Vrane HEPP) • 1994 to 2004 – SAT automation systems progressive implementation on all Vltava river cascade hydro electric power plants (HEPPs). Used solution has these significant features: • HEPP integrate control system inclusive of the turbine digital governor and synchronizing unit • System is possible flexibly configure from cheap system for the HEPP control to complex large HEPPs control inclusive of the water project with critical parts backup • 1996 – Vltava river´s cascade supervisory centre realization inclusive of single HEPPs active power distribution (modernized in 2004 year) www.andritzhydro.cz
