  4. Selection panel This year we have a small panel, consisting of just 10 judges, collectively representing local and international palates.

  5. Smaller volumes The judges chose a significantly smaller collection of 132 original, distinctive South African wines to be auctioned.

  6. Results? We saw a drop in volume from the 25,444 litres sold at 2012 to 12,426 on auction this year.

  8. The auction used to be for licenced buyers only, but this year we have invited a number of private buyers. Private buyers

  10. Forever young… Special concession for young wines has been made this year. Start-ups with small volumes have a chance to showcase their finest wines before they sell out.
