  2. Topics covered… • Biblical allusions (ch.7) • Blindness (ch. 22) • Characterization (ch. 3, 8, 14) • Setting (ch. 19, 20) • Theme (ch. 16, 17) • Point of view (ch. 5, 25) • Plot (ch.1) • Other chapters can filtrate these topics as well, these are just a few!

  3. Format… • You will be given SEVEN short answer prompts • You will choose THREE to write about • You will be required to provide textual evidence • Come with quotes noted in your text!

  4. Format Continued… • Textual evidence… • Blending quotes properly • Sentence structure • Sentence variation (sentence patterns) • Grammar/Mechanics • Duh!

  5. Format Continued… • Each question should be answered with a “beefy” paragraph • 4-6 well developed sentences • Sentence fluency is VERY important • Be sure to use EVIDENCE • Analyze the evidence and explain over all AUTHORS PURPOSE • Remember the over all question in AP Lit…

  6. Final spiel…. • ONE class period to write in (Enrichment Schedule) • Come prepared! • Text book and PEN only • I will provide prompt & paper QUESTIONS???
