  1. What is the Black Lightsaber in This Mandalorian? Season a single introduced a gun with a major legacy in the Star Wars whole world. The Black lightsaber went back in the arms of Moff Gideon in the Time 1 finale, with Season 2 introducing one of the Black lightsaber's past owners available as Katee Sackhoff's Bo-Katan Kryze. And with the Black lightsaber now in the hands of Mando himself pursuing the Mandalorian Time 2 finale, it's safe to mention this blade will still play a major part in the series and spinoffs such as Book of Mietkalis Fett. Here's everything you should know about the red and black lightsaber and how it ties the series back to the situations of Star Wars: The Star Wars. The Black lightsaber is unique to the lightsabers in the Star Wars universe. It has a flat, katana- like blade contrary to the traditional saber shape. The idea emits an odd, low hum. Perhaps its color is unlike any - deep black with a white círculo.

  2. The Black lightsaber is one of the main artifacts in Mandalorian culture. It was manufactured by a historical warrior named Tarre Vizsla, the primary Mandalorian to be inducted into the Jedi Order. That event happened at least 1000 years before the time of the movies, with Vizsla's existence forgotten by all but the most devout Mandalorian warriors and historians. The Jedi stored Vizsla's signature cutter on display as a museum relic before Mandalorians took it in return. Since then, the Black lightsaber has become synonymous with electrical power for Mandalorians. Anyone who wields the cutter is viewed by Mandalorian traditionalists as the rightful leader of Mandalore, as Moff Gideon revealed in the Time 2 finale. Busting the blade's user in a ritualistic War is the true path to electrical power - which could present a problem between Mando and Bo-Katan. Could it be the Black lightsaber Cursed? This doesn't necessarily mean the Black lightsaber is practically cursed (though this is Star Wars and the Jedi and Sith are capable of some pretty weird things). The Armorer and her faction of Mandalorians are incredibly extremist and obsessed with ancient customs. Although this legend truly does converse with why Bo-Katan's reign ended so badly. She didn't win the cutter in combat during the Star Wars Rebels events, which likely damaged your ex-standing among your ex-fellow Mandalorians. She's aware of her failure and determined not to make the same mistake twice. Fixed-up red lightsabers are truly cursed; she will not wield them again unless she can take them by force.
