  3. General Induction • Not only do we have our face to face environment, but we also have our online student hub.

  6. Program Requirements • Attendance 95% • This is strict, if more than 2 classes are missed, you will be advised to sit out class until the next program commences

Program Requirements • Questions time • Please, Please, Please use this time for any questions you might have. • Myself and the other lecturers that are within the program, wont have time to answer questions outside of class, with their many other industry roles. • Use this time, write down questions and use the • online-hub

  9. Program Requirements • Certificate IV Fitness Stream starting from the 22/09 onwards • You will be required to have pre-purchased a uniform, for industry branding and recognition within your local community • -Polo shirt • -Hoody • They can all be found on the website

  11. Fees - Refunds/Withdrawals Refund of fees will be made to students according to a set criteria. The Refund process is available to students who change their mind, 2 weeks after the course commencement date.

  12. VET FEE-HELP Barefoot Pathways is an approved provider of the Australian Government loan scheme called VET FEE-HELP. What is VET FEE-HELP? VET FEE-HELP is an Australian Government loan scheme for the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector that is part of the Higher Education Loan Program (HELP). This loan scheme enables eligible students studying at the diploma and • above level to apply through Barefoot Pathways for VET FEE-HELP assistance to defer the cost of their studies.

  14. Customer Feedback We welcomes your feedback in order to recognise best practice and to promote continuous improvement of our services! There is a process for students wishing to make an informal or formal complaint/ feedback associated with their study. The required documents can be found in the online repository.

  15. Harassment/Bullying/Misconduct Barefoot Pathways will not tolerate discrimination harassment or bullying of any kind.

  16. Harassment/Bullying/Misconduct Barefoot Pathways will take action to discipline a student as per the Student Discipline Procedure.

Privacy Barefoot Pathways is committed to complying with Victorian Information Privacy Legislation by ensuring the privacy of your personal information. • Barefoot Pathways collects personal information as a result of your enrolment for maintaining student records, for the provision of support services and to fulfil our obligation to provide statistical and other information to government agencies.

  18. Plagiarism Plagiarism is a form of cheating. It is taking and using someone else’s thoughts, writings or inventions and representing them as your own. If you are suspected of cheating, or plagiarising work, penalties WILL apply. If you have any questions about how to avoid plagiarism, please seek advice from your teacher

  19. Accidents, First Aid & Ambulance All accidents must be reported to a Designated First Aid Officer (DFO) or your course teacher. Evening students should report any accident to their teacher. There is a Designated First Aid Officer (DFO) in each course Barefoot Pathways does not cover the cost of an Ambulance if used to transport students in case of an emergency, or any related medical treatment. Barefoot Pathways strongly recommends that all students obtain their own Ambulance cover.

  20. Safety Evacuation Procedures All premises that Barefoot Pathways training is hosted at, comply with relevant and current OH&S Legislation. All students will be given detailed information regarding evacuation during your course induction.
