Sakti Burmans Contribution to Modern Indian Art

Sakti Burman gave modern Indian art a clear place - building a single picture world that mixes old tales, personal memory and pure invention. He works in mixed media plus often lets the paint streak like marble - this adds a new surface feel to current figure painting. In soft dream shaped scenes the same painted people return again and again - he retells stories with paint instead of words. Visit - https://artalivegallery.com/artists/sakti-burman.html<br>
