  3. Education and Training • 4 years in college for a bachelor’s degree (“pre-med”) • Take the MCAT ( a test to get into medical school) Kaytlynn Schexnider

  4. Clothing • In a hospital pediatricians wear scrubs or the doctor tells them to wear business casual clothing. • In offices most pediatricians wear business clothes and a lab coat. Kaytlynn Schexnider

  5. Schedule • Pediatricians work an average of 50 hours per week. • Some pediatricians take either a ½ day or full day off during the week. Kaytlynn Schexnider
