Cashmere Distinguishing Characteristics • Provides warmth and physical comfort that neither cotton nor linen can give • Necessity for apparel, rugs, and blankets • Each fleece contains different grades, or sort, of wool • Limitations of this textile fiber have been overcome by application of technology and manufacturing process

  4. Proximity to the United States • 5,992 miles from the U.S. by plane • Italy is approximately the size of Georgia and Florida combined
