Results from the Meth Project • Info prior to Meth Project: • “Teen Meth use in 2006 was almost twice the national average” • “14 is the average age that Arizona teens first try Meth” • Info after Meth Project: • Hailed by the White House as one of the nation’s most powerful anti-drug programs • A Survey showed an increase of teens who now see the risk involved in trying Meth once or twice. • As the project continued data showed that, “Lifetime Meth use declined by over 50% among 8th and 10th graders”
